The program encourages companies and organizations to give women more opportunities to advance their careers by offering them positions of greater responsibility and leadership\u2014Parsons was one of the first five signatories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs an accomplished manager and engineer, Suad exemplifies the business acumen and leadership skills vital for every growing company,\u201d said Gary Adams, Parsons Group President. \u201cI am pleased to see her honored by AmCham Abu Dhabi with this recognition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Khawaja has 19 years of work experience, 8 of which have been with Parsons. She has worked as a structural manager, project manager, and technical manager. Ms. Khawaja has both a bachelor\u2019s and a master\u2019s degree in civil engineering from the University of Jordan, Amman.<\/p>\n<p>Parsons has been working in the MEA region for more than 60 years and has offices in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain. Parsons\u2019 portfolio of ongoing work in the region includes major oil and gas projects as well as highways, bridges, rail and transit, airports, ports, water infrastructure, plus hospitals, public
