Representing more than CAD $41 billion and spanning 5 provinces as well as the Northwest Territories, Parsons\u2019 work encompasses airports, bridges, bus rapid transit, environmental remediation, highways, light rail transit, ports, rail, and subways.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCanada is making significant investments in transportation and transit to support economic growth and create more livable communities,\u201d said Michael Johnson, Parsons Group President. \u201cIn addition, rehabilitation of aging infrastructure has become a priority. Parsons is honored to continue its long history of providing forward-thinking and cutting-edge solutions that help to create a safer, connected, and more sustainable Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Parsons is engaged in 6 of the reported 19 transportation sector projects and 9 of the 20 transit projects, including the CAD $9.1 billion Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit, the top-ranked infrastructure project. Parsons is providing a full range of services on its <em>ReNew Canada<\/em>\u2019s top-rated projects\u2015from project inception and startup, through execution, to testing and closeout\u2014including alternative project delivery solutions, financing, project planning, environmental services, design, traffic engineering, program management, construction, and construction oversight.<\/p>\n<p><em>ReNew Canada\u2019s Top 100 Infrastructure Projects<\/em> list, which includes project descriptions, funding sources, and key players, totals CAD $161.3 billion, a modest increase from 2015\u2019s CAD $157.9 billion.
