He takes over for Donald D. Graul, who has held the position on an interim basis and will continue in his role as President of Parsons\u2019 Construction BU. The Infrastructure BU provides its customers with full-service engineering and management services in the aviation, rail and transit, transportation-related systems, and bridge and tunnel markets. In his new role, Mr. Johnson will be responsible for the BU\u2019s worldwide operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMike has tremendous experience in the infrastructure industry, having served in a leadership capacity in each of our market lines,\u201d said Chuck Harrington, Parsons\u2019 Chairman and CEO. \u201cI\u2019m delighted that he has agreed to take on this important leadership role and am confident he\u2019ll lead our Infrastructure business unit to new heights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Johnson has more than 25 years of experience with Parsons and has held a succession of positions with increasing responsibilities. His most recent position was Executive Vice President and Global Business Development Manager of Parsons Transportation Group, Inc. (PTG), now known as Infrastructure. In this role, he led the BU\u2019s global sales and marketing program. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Strategy Development &amp; Implementation. In this role, he guided PTG\u2019s mergers and acquisitions activities and oversaw the implementation of the BU\u2019s strategic initiatives.
