PASADENA, CA (February 3, 2016)<\/strong> \u2013 Parsons\u2019 Peter Elza, Service Life and Sustainability Manager, will join representatives from other industry firms on February 11, 2016, at the morning seminar (9 \u2011 11 a.m.) of the Concrete Industry Board of New York City to present various perspectives on achieving infrastructure concrete service life of 100+ years. The joint presentation will focus primarily on recent major bridge projects, including the Goethals Bridge Replacement Project. Casimir Bognacki, Chief of Materials Engineering for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, will moderate the seminar, which will be held at the New York Athletic Club.<\/p>\n \u201cParsons has extensive expertise in concrete design and construction in all infrastructure markets, including bridges, tunnels, and roads\/highways,\u201d said Donald Graul, Parsons Group President. \u201cPeter exemplifies the industry\u2019s best and has a wealth of knowledge regarding service life design, strategy, and implementation.\u201d<\/p>\n In his role at Parsons, Mr. Elza is responsible for leading implementation of service life design for delivery of, and procurements for, major bridge projects in the United States and globally.
