Technology + Experience = Safety!

Emergency responders are crucial to keeping our roads and highways safe. Firefighters, emergency medical personnel, law enforcement officers, transportation workers, and towing and recovery professionals are all critical to clearing roadway accidents safely and quickly.

Our Emergency Transportation Operations (ETO) group provides training and expertise to help these first responders make the most effective use of technologies to implement the quick, safe clearance of roadway incidents. We emphasize the 3 C’s – Communication, Coordination, Cooperation – and lead the United States with over 25,000 first responders trained in the latest quick clearance practices. These practices have been proven to reduce the frequency of secondary crashes, which are often more severe than the initial incident, by as much as 51%!
