PASADENA, CA (March 30, 2017) – In early March, Parsons and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT’s) Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering hosted the Infrastructure, Smart Cities, and Transportation workshop. The day-long event brought together leadership representatives from Parsons and faculty, postdocs, and alumni from cross-cutting MIT programs to explore the parallels between ongoing research and current industry needs.

“We’re glad to have collaborated with MIT to deliver this workshop,” said Biff Lyons, Parsons’ Executive Vice President of Security & Intelligence. “The unique nature of MIT’s culture creates an environment where students from all over the world collaborate to tackle big problems, and that culture is also important at Parsons.”
