PASADENA, CA (April 27, 2017)<\/strong> \u2013 Parsons announced that Carey Smith, President of its Federal business unit, will deliver the industry keynote address at the 14th Annual Groundbreaking Women in Construction (GWIC) conference in San Francisco, CA, on May 2, 2017. In her presentation entitled \u201cChallenges & Opportunities for Women\u2026in a Changing Government Environment,\u201d Ms. Smith will discuss specific recommendations on how to attract, develop, and retain women in construction at a critical time for the industry due to the pending labor shortage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s never been more opportunity for women in the construction industry,\u201d said Smith. \u201cI\u2019m honored to present the industry keynote address at GWIC and represent Parsons, which recognizes the value of employing a diverse workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n
