Planet. Progress<\/em>.<\/strong> This document describes Parsons\u2019 impacts in the areas of environment, workplace, marketplace, and society, also known as the four areas of CSR. Published prior to Earth Day, the report includes examples of sustainability on Parsons\u2019 projects, areas where the corporation has achieved the greatest impact in providing innovative sustainable solutions to its customers\u2014as well as its efforts to make its overall operations even more sustainable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCorporate social responsibility is an integral part of our company culture, so we\u2019re excited to share our latest corporate social responsibility report with our stakeholders,\u201d said Chuck Harrington, Parsons\u2019 Chairman and CEO. \u201cAs we note in the report, our sustainability and ecosystem services are key components of our innovation strategy and are just one way Parsons delivers a better world by providing meaningful and impactful solutions to our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to including information detailing the corporation\u2019s progress in the area of sustainability, the report features information about some of Parsons\u2019 proprietary technology solutions because we leverage technology to enhance the customer experience. The report also highlights Parsons\u2019 contributions to communities where it operates as well as its social impacts, including safety, health, and the environment; inclusion and diversity; and ethics and integrity.<\/p>\n<p>In an effort to continuously enhance Parsons\u2019 value<em>, <strong>People. Planet. Progress. <\/strong><\/em>highlights the measurable results the corporation has achieved for 3 years: 2017, 2016, and 2015. In the interest of using a credible, internationally recognizable reporting approach, Parsons incorporated select metrics of the Global Reporting Initiative to summarize its accomplishments.
