The new facility accommodates the company\u2019s growing portfolio of work, including software and hardware integration, for customers in the defense, intelligence, and infrastructure sectors, as well as research and development needs for the corporation\u2019s technology solutions such as the ZEUS Laser Neutralization System.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Dewitz, Executive Vice President of Engineering &amp; Technical Services, was joined by Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle; Madison Mayor Paul Finley; and Dale Strong, Chairman of the Madison County Commission, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating the new facility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur work in Huntsville keeps the nation safe, and there\u2019s nothing more important than that,\u201d said Dewitz. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to inaugurate this integration facility that increases our effectiveness and also grows the community as we hire more employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Parsons employs approximately 500 people in the Huntsville\/Madison County area and plans to hire an additional 50 local employees following this expansion.
