The 22nd edition of the conference, themed <em>Shaping a New Era of Prosperity<\/em>, will be held from June 13 to 16, 2016, at the Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal, QC.<\/p>\n<p>The Opening Plenary Session will take place on June 14, 2016, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. and will explore how investments in green and smart infrastructure represent a unique opportunity to not only boost long-term growth in today\u2019s macroeconomic context, but also tackle climate change through innovation. Other speakers include Egypt\u2019s Minister of International Cooperation, Philips Lighting\u2019s CEO, Guggenheim Partners\u2019 Chairman of Investments and Global Chief Investment Officer, and Ivory Coast\u2019s Minister of Economic Infrastructure..<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI look forward to joining global CEOs and government leaders in discussing strategies to help build the infrastructure that will power our world\u2019s economy,\u201d said Harrington. \u201cIt is critical that we continue to find ways to address global infrastructure needs, including through innovative technology application, contracting methods, project delivery types, and financing methods.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Conference of Montreal is committed to heightening knowledge and awareness of the major issues concerning economic globalization, with a particular emphasis on the relations between the Americas and other continents.
