Parsons received this distinction for having 20% or more women on its board of directors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParsons is honored to once again be recognized by 2020 Women on Boards,\u201d said Chuck Harrington, Parsons\u2019 Chairman and CEO. \u201cThis distinction reflects our commitment to diversity and the integral core values that make up Parsons\u2019 DNA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Parsons\u2019 board has three female members: Jeanne M. Johns, former Head of Safety and Operational Risk for BP\u2019s refining and marketing businesses as well as the functional Head of BP\u2019s Operating Management System; Tamara L. Lundgren, President and Chief Executive Officer of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc., one of the nation\u2019s largest recyclers of scrap metal, a leading provider of used and recycled auto parts, and a manufacturer of finished steel products; and Major General Suzanne M. \u201cZan\u201d Vautrinot, USAF (ret), who served as Commander, 24th Air Force and Air Forces Cyber, before retiring in October 2013.<\/p>\n<p>2020 Women on Boards is a nonprofit grassroots campaign committed to increasing the percentage of women who serve on company boards to 20% or greater by the year 2020.
