Meade include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Historical preservation<\/strong>, including restoration of external fa\u00e7ade stone and metal work. This includes repairing and replacing marble and stone that has deteriorated over time because of external corrosion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dirksen Senate building<\/strong>, where we\u2019re overseeing renovations to one of the Senate hearing rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thomas Jefferson building<\/strong>, where we\u2019ll be preparing the visitors&#8217; center ahead of the US\u2019 250th anniversary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library of Congress buildings<\/strong>, where we\u2019re managing the installation of a cellular update system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Routine facility modernization<\/strong>, such as elevator upgrades, new stairwells, and build-out of offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-maximizing-efficiencies\">Maximizing Efficiencies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The AOC\u2019s comprehensive stewardship extends beyond these visible assets to the Capitol Power Plant, to maximize efficiency and energy savings. There, we\u2019re refurbishing the chiller system that provides steam and chilled water service to buildings within the Capitol Complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also provide Operation and Maintenance (O&amp;M) services for the Capitol Power Plant and Utility Metering Maintenance for the utility distribution system. Together, these include miles of piping, ancillary mechanical and electrical equipment, and below grade structures including tunnels, vaults, and inspection chambers used to heat and cool the US Capitol Complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-advancing-the-architect-of-the-capitol-s-mission\">Advancing The Architect Of The Capitol&#8217;s Mission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We understand the long-term benefits of properly managing each element of the facility lifecycle.
